Shopping with Mom

Toree and I went on our official girls only shopping trip Saturday. We went to Mitchell to do the normal restock the pantry shopping and since the boys stayed home we did some girl shopping too. We learned the essentials like: look at the clearence racks first, then check out the sales, and finally see if we look cute in it. The only thing that would have made it even better is if Aunt Crystal and cousin Grace could have been with us. We will have to do that when Mommy, Jonah, and Toree go to Council Bluffs for spring break. It was a nice warm weekend up here in the 40's and 50's. So, it was a good day to be out and Jonah was even able to play outside at home.

I'm 3-Months-Old !!!

Well, another month has gone by. Hard to believe that she has already been around for 1/4 of a year. Miss Toree has decided that she wants to sit up. So, we put together the high chair and now she can sit up. The bouncer was not good enough anymore because it sits at a slight angle and she wants to be stright up and down. We tried some rice cereal last night. She didn't quite know what to think of it. She did however enjoy talking to the spoon. She loves to talk and just like any little girl lights up and coo's when she sees her daddy. Daddy has finally stopped calling her "chubbers" and is trying out "giggles". Toree thinks it is funny when daddy calls her "giggles".

Toree and Grace were baptized on the 27th of January. Both of the girls looked beautiful in their gowns. My niece Grace wore my sister's gown. My mom made one for Toree. My baptism outfit was too small for our chunky monkey. It was a very nice day. It was great to have all the family and friends together to celebrate such a blessing. My 31st birthday was also this week. It was also my golden birthday. My sweetheart of a husband sent me 31 fire & ice and peach roses. I have never seen a bouquet so large ( and that is saying a lot because I worked in a floral shop in college). It truly was a great day to venture into my 30's.
