Christmas

We had a very busy Christmas. We went to church with Chris' family the morning of the 23rd. Then opened gifts and had lunch with them. We left from there at about 1:30 and finished packing and left to my grandma's for the evening. My cousin Becky was here from DC and I really wanted to see her. Then Monday we had Christmas with my family. Then we all went to church that night. Santa visited Grandma and Papa Juhl's house for the kids. Then after opening gifts for the 3rd time we went to my Aunt Betty's for our last and final Christmas celebration. Toree spent most of her Christmas celebrating asleep. Jonah enjoyed getting to help his sister open her presents. Santa was a big success with bringing Jonah a big boy pirate ship. We all enjoyed being with family and celebrating this special time of year. Thank you to everyone for the very generous gifts that were given to our family this year.

Holiday Decorating

We finally put up the Christmas tree tonight. Toree slept through most of it. Jonah was 8 going on 9 months old for his first Christmas and much more into the activities of the holiday. It sure is different having one that really doesn't care. We popped popcorn for a snack and fun was had by the rest of the family. It is always nice doing something together. The Dr. gave Toree a med to help relax her tummy and it seems to be helping...hopefully her tummy will learn to relax on its own since she can only be on the med for a couple of weeks. All I know is less spitting up and she is sleeping...so I get to sleep some too. Jonah says that his sister is less cranky now. She started smiling this last week but, we have not been able to catch with the camera. She smiled at herself in the mirror this morning. It is truly the little things in life that make us truly happy.

One Month Already?!

Hard to believe that Toree has already been in our lives for a month. She is taking after her cousin Grace and having tummy troubles. We went to see the doctor last week and I am not drinking milk through tomorrow when we go back to see if that helps. So far no change. Hopefully things will get better after we go back to see the doctor. Toree had her 1st bottle last night and was not thrilled with it. She took the bottle well for Chris...but then when I was taking my turn to get her to burp she kept complaining to me and trying to nurse. She whined off and on until the next feeding. Hope things go better or Grandma Janice will have fun when she starts watching her next month. Jonah still loves his baby sister but, he gets quite jealous when having to wait his turn. He also informed Daddy last night that his sister is cranky. I'd be cranky too if my tummy hurt most of the time.
